Water bottles in sizes 11.3 L and 18.9 L, with the Ultra-PureTM Label are manufactured using P.E.T. (Poly Ethylene Terephthalate-Isophthalate CB608S) material. P.E.T. CB608S is a condensation polymer produced from pure:
   * Terephthalic Acid (PTA)
   * Isoterephthalic Acid (IPA)
   * Ethylene Glycol (EG)
This material does not contain Bisphenol A (BPA)

Caffeine just may be the most widely used drug in North America! Athletes have taken advantage of the energy boosting effect of caffeine for years - to the point that caffeine's well recognized stimulant effects were at one time put on the list of banned drugs.

However, excessive intakes of caffeine greater than 500 mg/day (or smaller doses in caffeine sensitive individuals) may experience irritability, muscle tremors, nausea, nervousness, anxiety, insomnia, headaches and diarrhea. Not one of these side effects are good for an athlete's performance during training and competition.

Read articleApril 4, 2008 - Inner City Kids Basketball

Clarus Canadian Springs is pleased to announce their support for the Inner City Kids Basketball Program. The goal of the project is to give kids a chance to have fun playing basketball without the need for structured or league play, all the while getting exercise and improving self-confidence. The project is run entirely by volunteers and funded by individual donations.

For this group of players and their head coach Bob Axworthy, it's a journey that takes them into the inner city where every Friday where they share their love of basketball with a 10-year-old girls team from Magnus Eliason Recreation Centre.

"It's not good enough to just read about the inner city in the Free Press and how tough it is for many kids there. I decided I need to do something and what I have (to offer) is basketball," said Axworthy.
